Like many people who shop for their family, I think of Costco for stocking up on my everyday essentials. Toilet paper that lasts for months? Sign me up! But I’ll be the first to admit I don’t always remember to check Costco for Christmas gifts. They do a great job of putting them front and center so I walk past all the shiny objects on my way to pick up a lifetime supply of laundry detergent. But still when it comes time to start working on my Christmas gift list, I don’t usually think to check Costco.
So this year I thought I would compare prices and find some of the best deals on the best gifts they offer and I was pleasantly surprised at their selection and even more surprised at how competitive their prices were. They really know how to make a frugal mom’s heart sing!
Gifts for younger kids
If you’ve been wanting to get something for your little ones creative space, this is a great affordable option. One side is a white board and the other side is a chalkboard. Most other easels I found were around $50-$60 so this one is a steal at just under $30.
This one caught my eye because it happened to be on sale on my last Costco visit. It’s still on sale for a couple more days but even the regular price is still pretty good. $20 on sale $27 regular price. This would be a good thing to have on hand for your birthday preset stash too even if your kids are past this stage. You do need to be a Costco member to pick this one though.
This one brings back memories of my childhood Barbie obsession. If you have a Barbie lover you’re shopping for this one looks like a pretty safe bet! Plus it’s priced really well at $36.99!
Gifts for older kids
Recommended for ages 8+ this robot has 6 game modes, and features something called GestureSense which enables it to respond to the swipe of your hand. My personal favorite is that it’s less than $50! Mom win!
Laser X Micro Blasters lets you bring laser tag home. If you don’t live near a laser tag arena or don’t want to pay every time your kids want to play, this is a great alternative. With this particular set they can play with up to 4 players and it’s recommended for ages 6+. At less than $40 it will keep your kids busy and cost you less than taking them to a laser tag park. Win win!
If your child is into motorized cars this one looks like a winner! And I found it at another popular online retailer for $65 more than at Costco! Do your own research, of course, but this was the best deal I could find!
If you have a Harry Potter fan age 8-88 to shop for this is a great gift at a really great price! I’m all about a gift that keeps them busy and gets their brains working.
Costco has quite a few box sets to choose from at a great price, this one just happens to be one of my favorites. If your child hasn’t had the opportunity to read some Ramona books I’m sure they will fall in love like I did as a child after just one of these books. at $2 per book they’re getting to read some classics and you’re getting a great deal!
Gifts for Adults
If you’ve been wanting one of these now is the time to let Santa know they’re a great deal at Costco. Now through 11/26 they’re on sale for $100 off! Just in time to bake lots and lots of Christmas cookies!
This is a gift that will also help you save money long term. If you want to stop wasting food, this is a great way to keep your food fresh longer so you throw away less food which is basically throwing away money. Right now it’s on sale through 11/26 at Costco for only $99.99!
If you are a Costco member this is a great hair dryer at a great price and is on sale for a couple more days for an extra $20 off! Regular price is $99.99. Plus it comes with the brush too!
Already a great price at Costco, if you’re a Costco member you can score this on sale for a few more days for $239.99, $60 off their regular price! You know you’re an adult when you get excited about vacuums being on sale!
Have I sold you yet on why you need to check Costco for your holiday gifts?! I was seriously impressed with their pricing and felt like I could check off most people on my list shopping there. Happy deal hunting frugal friends!
*All of these prices were the prices at the time I wrote this post and may have changed. Please be sure to do your own research to find the best deals.
